Earthing Product Authenticity

Ensuring the authenticity of your Earthing products is crucial for maximizing their effectiveness and safety. Look for the Earthing logo, which is a registered trademark and a guarantee of genuine quality. The logo should be prominently displayed on the packaging and the product itself;

Be wary of products claiming to be “Earthing” or “grounding” without the official logo. These products may not meet the same rigorous standards of quality and safety as genuine Earthing products.

Purchasing from reputable retailers and distributors is another way to ensure authenticity. Always check the seller’s website and reviews to confirm their legitimacy. If you have any doubts about the authenticity of a product, contact Earthing directly for verification.

By choosing genuine Earthing products, you’re investing in your health and well-being. You’re also supporting a company committed to providing high-quality, safe, and effective grounding solutions.

Earthing Installation

Proper installation is essential for ensuring your Earthing products function effectively and safely. While many Earthing products are designed for easy setup, some may require professional installation, particularly for larger or more complex systems. Always consult the user manual for specific installation instructions for your product.

For example, when installing an Earthing sheet, it’s crucial to ensure the sheet is placed on a conductive surface, such as a concrete floor, and that the grounding cord is properly connected to a grounded outlet. If you’re unsure about the grounding status of your outlets, use a simple outlet checker available at most hardware stores.

If you’re dealing with electrical work, it’s always advisable to consult a qualified electrician. They can ensure the installation meets safety standards and complies with local building codes. Remember, a properly installed Earthing system can provide numerous health benefits, so taking the time to ensure a safe and effective installation is paramount.

Earthing System Considerations

Before installing an electrical earthing system, several factors must be considered to ensure that the system is safe and reliable. Some of these factors include the soil resistivity, the earthing system type, the earthing conductors size, and the earth electrodes location.

Soil resistivity is a measure of how well the soil conducts electricity. Soil with high resistivity will require a larger earthing system to achieve the desired level of grounding. The type of earthing system chosen will depend on the specific application and the local building codes.

The size of the earthing conductors must be sufficient to carry the fault current without overheating; Finally, the earth electrodes should be located in an area where the soil resistivity is low and where they will not be disturbed by excavation or other activities.

Earthing Product Setup

Setting up Earthing products is generally straightforward. Most products come with clear instructions, and many have helpful videos available online. For instance, the Better Earthing Underlays do not require buckles or straps; simply follow the instructions in the Set-Up Guide and watch the accompanying video.

For other products, like grounding sheets, the setup might involve connecting a grounding cord to the item and plugging it into a grounded outlet. Always ensure that your outlet is grounded using a simple outlet checker available at your local electrical supply or hardware store.

Some Earthing products might have specific installation requirements. For example, the Argon enclosure requires verification of the electrical connection after wiring by using a resistance meter between the case PE wire and J4 PE terminal while J4 PE wire is not connected. Always consult the product manual for detailed setup instructions.
